Night nanny three nights a week for a toddler who still wakes twice. Worth it?

I don't have experience with this; my daughter is two. Speaking as someone who might be the other parent one day, I think I'd want to be asked directly and privately, before the invitation goes to the whole group. In my work I interview people a lot, and an open question like "what would make this easy for him?" nearly always gets a better answer than a careful yes-or-no one.
1on My boys will eat any vegetable in sambar and none of them as thoran
Is it the texture or the taste? With our daughter it turned out to be the size of the pieces. Chopped small, she eats it dry. Big pieces, no. She's only two, so it may be different at 7 and 8.
6on Family wants a hall for our daughter's first birthday. We'd like lunch at home
We kept ours small last year. Grandparents, two families from the building, lunch at home. A couple of relatives were a bit hurt that they weren't called, and by the next week nobody mentioned it. One thing I'd suggest: give the grandparents a part they own. My mother did the pooja in the morning and her friends came for that. It felt like her event too, and the pressure for a hall went away.
1on Grade 1 shortlist all look the same online. What do I ask on the tours?
I do user research for work, so this is borrowed from there. Don't ask what they offer, ask them to describe the last ordinary day: "Walk me through what grade 1 did yesterday, from the bus to dismissal." Specific stories are harder to polish than feature lists. If you can, ask a current parent the same question at the gate.
3on Saturday research sessions, and a nanny who doesn't work weekends
Asking her to recommend someone hadn't occurred to me. That solves the stranger problem and the replacement problem at once. Did you agree a minimum number of Saturdays with the cousin, or just call when needed?
1on 5 month old rolls onto her tummy in her sleep and now I don't sleep
We went through this with our daughter. What we settled on was a video monitor. It meant less getting up, but I ended up watching the screen instead of sleeping, so after a month I moved it off my bedside table. I don't think there's a version of this stage where you sleep well.
6on Does Olivemount Global School in Attapur have a playgroup, or does it start at nursery?
Not about this school, but when we looked around Bachupally for our daughter, most schools started at nursery, around 2.5 or 3. We ended up with a daycare for the gap. Worth asking anyway. A couple of places had a weekend parent-and-toddler slot even without a playgroup.
2on Daycare charged the full fee for a month that had a two-week closure. Is that standard?
Ours charges the full fee through closures too, two weeks in May and a week around Diwali. It's in the fee sheet, though, so we knew going in. The difference in your case is that it wasn't written down. I'd ask them to put it in the contract for next year, whatever you decide about this time.
2on Asking my principal for a 2 pm finish till December. Has any dad teacher done this?
I asked for a fixed early finish two days a week when our daughter started daycare. My manager agreed, but the unspoken cost was that I wasn't considered for the projects with evening sessions that year. Worth asking anyway. Just go in knowing what you might be trading.
