Would Springdales in Balanagar let us sit in on an LKG class before we decide?

We're in Attapur and making a list of schools for our son's LKG next June. Springdales The School is on it. My partner is at home this year and I do the pickups, so either of us could go in on a weekday. Brochures and the front-office tour all look the same to me. I'd like to watch twenty minutes of an ordinary LKG class. Do schools allow this, and has anyone asked Springdales?

i work in a school, and most of us say no to parents sitting in during term, it changes the class. ask for a walk past the rooms while children are in session. ten minutes in a corridor tells you more than any demo

When my grandson's parents were choosing his school, one place let us watch outdoor play for about twenty minutes. That showed us more than the classroom would have, how the teachers spoke to the children who wandered off, mostly. It may be worth asking Springdales whether something like that is possible.

i teach. a stranger at the back of an lkg room means 25 children performing for that stranger for the whole hour. you won't see a normal day anyway

What do you want to see, exactly? If it's whether the teacher raises her voice, one visit won't show you. If it's how they handle a crying child at drop-off, ask them that directly and see how specific the answer is.

We're in Attapur too. Balanagar every day at LKG age? Have you done the drive at school time yet?

Not yet. Pickup is mine, so it's the afternoon drive I'd be doing daily. I'll try both times this week before we go any further.

Ask for the LKG timetable and the class size in writing. Those don't change because a parent is watching.

we did a daycare visit where they let us watch from the doorway for a bit. our son was too small to care. what i remember is the teacher never once looked over at us. that was the good sign for me
