started about two weeks ago. said very calmly, then he goes back to whatever he was doing. no tears. i haven't reacted much. my mother thinks i should be stricter about it. not sure ignoring it is right either
We went through this at about the same age. What helped was naming the feeling back without arguing, something like 'you're angry I said no'. It faded in a couple of months. Our daughter is older now and has moved on to slamming doors, so I can't claim we solved anything.
ours said it most of ukg. we mostly let it pass and it faded. she says it to her cousin now, which is a whole other thing
