Two boys at Springfields School, Charminar, one class apart. Do the classes finish and travel together?

mango_chai_2869

We are looking at Springfields School for June 2027, when our boys would be going into classes 6 and 7. Before we go further, I want to understand the daily logistics for siblings. Do the middle classes all finish at the same time, or do older classes get a later slot? And is it usual for brothers to be put on the same van or bus route? One parent doing two pickups at different times will not work for us.

This was our whole decision for two kids. Same gate, same time. Ask whether 6 and 7 finish together or whether they stagger by wing, some schools do that to manage the gate.

Staggered timings are not always the problem. Ours are ten years apart, so they have never been on the same timetable. What wore us down was the waiting. The younger one sat in the school lobby for an hour most days. If they do stagger, ask what the earlier child does in the gap and who is with him.

A process question worth asking at the admission stage: does the school assign transport by address or by class? Some schools put siblings on one route automatically, others need a written request. It is much easier to settle on the form than to change later.

Nobody here is going to know their bus routes. Call the office and ask two things: which routes reach your area, and what time the first pickup is. The second number tells you how early your boys will be getting up.
