He's 2 months. Every list, every relative and the baby app say tummy time several times a day. I put him down on the mat, he lifts his head once, looks offended, then screams until I pick him up. Is he supposed to just get through it? Did yours hate it this much?
My son hated it too. Our paediatrician told us that lying back on the sofa with him on my chest counted, and he screamed far less that way because he could see my face. You could ask yours whether that would work for him. Short and often seemed to matter more than long.
on my chest he just falls asleep, which i'm choosing to count as a win. 1.50 am, trying it now
