Started a language app to keep my daughter company. She quit on day nine. I'm on day 104

In January my daughter announced that she would be watching anime without subtitles by summer, and I offered to learn Japanese alongside her for moral support. She stopped after nine days. I am on day 104 and can now order water and apologise for being late, both politely. She no longer studies at all, but every night at ten she comes to check whether I've done my lesson. If I haven't, she stands there until I do. She has also informed me that the streak is technically hers, since she started it.
