Someone near East Marredpally who fits a proper shade net on a terrace?

Beti has six pots on our terrace, chillies, two tomato plants and a tulsi she is very serious about. This month the tomatoes have just given up and the chilli leaves are curling. She checks them every evening and gets more upset each time. I tried an old bedsheet tied to the railing. Bas, the wind took it on day two. Looking for someone who will put up a frame with a net properly, not too expensive, and ideally before the rains. Any names or even which shop to ask at?

The plant nurseries on the main road towards Bollaram usually know a fitter, and some of them do it themselves. Ask about the percentage of shade. We took a very dense net for our balcony the first time and nothing flowered under it. A lighter one did better. If you're in an apartment, check with the association before anything is drilled. Ours insisted the frame be removable.

Till the fitter comes, try old dupattas on a bamboo pole frame tied low. Our terrace looked like a wedding pandal for a month, but the curry patta and the mint survived. Your daughter can choose the colours, makes it her project too 🙂

Also move the pots against whichever wall gets afternoon shade, even before the net is up. My son lost his first plant last year and refused to water anything for weeks after, so I'd try to save at least the tulsi for her.
