Our son will only settle in the bedroom if the fan is on. Not the living room fan, not the table fan we tried, the bedroom one. It's turning cooler at night now and he lies there in a full sleepsuit staring at it like it's television. My partner switched it off at 2 am last night. He woke up within a minute to complain.
Mine was exactly like this at that age. He's 17 now and still sleeps with the fan on in December. Some things just stay ❤
at least it's free entertainment. ours wanted the kitchen exhaust specifically. you can't put a cot in the kitchen
Ours liked the fan too. We kept it on the lowest speed through the cooler months and as long as it was moving she was content. I'd forgotten all about it until your post.
Is it the movement or the sound? Ours turned out to be the sound. Once it got cold, a white noise app at low volume took over from the fan, though it took about a week before he accepted it.
my daughter used to wave at our fan every morning. she's 7 and still says good morning to it sometimes, mostly to annoy me.
