Our daughter is 3 and nursery applications for next June are starting. Every school has its own registration fee, its own form, its own interaction date. My list currently has seven schools because everyone in our building recommends a different one ❤️ I really don't want to apply to seven. How many did you apply to, and how many did you wish you'd skipped?
Four, for our younger one last year. Two would have been enough. The other two were insurance we never needed, and the registration fees added up.
For our daughter we applied to exactly one, close to my amma's place, and got in 😊 That was a long time ago though. From what friends with small kids tell me, it's a different game now.
We applied to three for our daughter. What I would do differently: decide your actual first choice before filling any forms. Once offers start arriving with payment deadlines, there is very little time to think clearly.
