Three days now. She lies under it ignoring the mirror, the rattle and the crinkly elephant, and stares at the white care label I forgot to cut off. Fully absorbed. Kicks when I move it. I'm not cutting it off now.
Ours was the same with a barcode sticker on a carton. I was told babies of this age pick out strong black and white edges first, which a printed label has. The elephant never stood a chance.
In our house the favourite thing at that age was the cardboard box the cot came in. Our son is nineteen and still prefers the packaging to the product.
Same age here. Ours ignores every toy and stares at the switchboard by the door 😂 We've moved her mat twice so she can see it properly.
Keep the label. Mine had a blanket with a satin tag she rubbed between her fingers till she was four ❤️
