0on partner wants to order the entire baby list in the diwali sale
My son is 11, so this is from a while ago. I bought nearly everything early. The cot and pram were fine. The rocker he hated from day one, and I had two carriers when I only ever used one. If the sale allows returns, buy the big things and leave the small ones.
2on Almost walking. Does he need shoes yet, or is barefoot fine?
The squeaky shoes! Every grandmother buys them. My son had a pair and the whole building knew whenever he left the flat. For the park we switched to soft-soled ones because the hard soles kept tripping him.
3on Two months old and she has discovered her own hand. It's going badly
Read this with my morning tea and laughed out loud. My son is eleven and still walks into doors he knows are there, so the hand may take a while.
For us it started to matter when my son got older. He is 11 and has one school friend who lives two lanes away in Begumpet. That friendship is a big part of why the afternoons after school work for him while I'm at the office. I would ask about it on a visit.
