Our daughter has opened a restaurant in the hall. Aaji does all the cooking

The menu is hand-drawn and has three items. All three are thalipeeth, spelled three different ways. She takes the order on a notepad, carries it to the kitchen, waits while aaji makes it, serves it, and collects payment in stickers. I asked for a family discount and was told, politely, that prices are fixed.

This is exactly how mine started at that age. She's about to start class 10 and the restaurant has turned into her taking over the kitchen every Sunday for one 'experiment'. Tell aaji to keep the recipe rights :)

Update from the restaurant: it now has a complaints box. The first complaint, from aaji, says the waiter eats the profits.

How long before she starts charging aaji? That's when you'll know it's a real business. Ours is only one and already runs the house, so I'm taking notes.
