Our 9 month old sits, watches, and shows no interest in standing. Relatives keep bringing up his cousin

The cousin walked at nine months. Ours sits very well, crawls when he wants something, and otherwise watches. Since the cousin, every family call includes 'is he standing yet'. Our doctor wasn't worried at the last check. I want numbers, not anecdotes. What range were you given for standing and walking? And how do you end the comparison without delivering a lecture each time?
