Our 1 year old has worked out that my car keys mean I'm leaving. He hides them now.

Twice this week I've found them in the shoe rack, once inside his toy drum. This morning he watched me search with a completely straight face and only gave them up for a biscuit. Early theatre lists are hard enough without negotiating with a toddler at 6 am ❤

No card, no office is exactly his logic. He's going to be a fine negotiator one day. Possibly already is.

Wait a few years. Ours hid my laptop charger before her school concert so I 'couldn't work' 🤷 Very sweet, very inconvenient.

enjoy it. at 12 mine hands me the keys and asks what time i'll be back, mostly so he can plan the tv

Planning the TV around the parents' timings starts much earlier than 12. My 6 year old already asks if dida is coming over, because dida means cartoons 🙂
