One month old and he owns more clothes than I do. Half of them fit a two year old

Every visitor has brought clothes. We now have a cupboard of tiny collared shirts, two waistcoats, a sherwani and a jacket with a hood shaped like a bear. He lives in the same four cotton vests. Sizes go up to 18-24 months. By the time he fits the sherwani he'll have opinions about it.

Keep the bigger ones. They fit sooner than you'd expect. The sherwani will get worn once, for a photo, and that's fine.

Our elder one got so many frocks at her naming ceremony that the younger one wore half of them two years later. Ammamma still points them out in the photos.

How many came with receipts? Ours had none. Exchanged nothing.

We ended up sorting ours by actual length with a measuring tape. The labels said months, years and in one case centimetres, and none of them agreed with each other.
