Nephew got to be class teacher for one period on Teachers' Day. He gave a surprise test.

Their school lets the students take over for a period on Teachers' Day. My nephew, 11, was given his own class for maths. He prepared for it all week, which should have been the warning. He walked in, told everyone to put their books away, and handed out a ten-question test he'd written himself. He came home very pleased and said it was the best day of school this year.

Ha, give a person a little power. My daughter did the same in grade 8 and assigned an essay. Due the next day.

This made my morning. Did he correct them too? I hope he wrote 'see me' on someone's paper ♥

He says 'most of them'. He also says he was fair. His classmates apparently do not agree, and two of them have told his mother.

As a teacher I'm a little flattered. As the mother of an 11 year old boy, I'm grateful mine wasn't in that class.

My brother did this in 10th. He gave everyone full marks so the class would like him. Didn't work, they still made fun of him.

Full marks is the more dangerous teacher, to be honest. The surprise-test boy at least took the job seriously.
