hospital gave us the birth registration form. someone said it can be done without a name and the name added later?? true? is it a pain later bengali side wants one name, partner's side another, we like neither 😂 she's 'baby' on every paper so far
It can be added later. We registered our son without a name and added it within the year. The office wanted an application and both our IDs, and it took two visits. Not difficult, just slow. I would not leave it till school admission, because then you're doing it under pressure.
Within the year is right. My son did the same for our grandson, two visits for them also. And they had no name for forty days because we grandparents wanted a different one. Parents won. 🙂
My son's naming was done at the 21st day function in Kakinada, so we had the name before registering. Here people seem to wait longer. Don't worry about the families, every side gives names, finally parents decide. Congratulations on the baby girl.
