Name two sources of water. My daughter wrote 'tanker' and 'RO'

Class 3 EVS half-yearly paper came back today. Q: Name two sources of water. Her answer: Tanker. RO. Half a mark. The teacher has written 'rivers, wells, rain?' in the margin, very politely. In her defence, she has lived in a KPHB apartment her whole life and watched the tanker arrive every summer morning. She has never seen a well. I'm not sure who failed this one ❤

This may be the most honest answer on that paper. My younger one, asked where rice comes from, once wrote 'the big bag in the store room'. We took both girls to a farm outside the city a few weekends later, which helped a little. Did the teacher give anything at all for 'RO'?

      Replying to @jade_pebble_3441

'Bore' at least comes out of the ground, so that's closer to a well than anything in our building. Ours has now decided she'll write 'rain' next time because 'the teacher likes rain'. Learning, of a kind.
