daughter has done a year at a small playschool near us and will be ready for lkg in june. gyan bharthi is walking distance, which matters a lot to us after years of my son's school bus 🤷 does anyone know if they take lkg joiners or is it mostly children who came up from nursery. also how long is the lkg day
Late April is when many schools are finishing their LKG lists, so I'd phone them on Monday instead of waiting for replies here. When our son joined LKG at a new school they asked for a short interaction and the playschool report, nothing more.
Walking distance at 4 is worth a lot. We chose the bigger school with the bus for our son and a closer one for our daughter, and her mornings are completely different. The trade-off is two school calendars, two sets of holidays and every event on a different day, which I underestimated.
We have a baby, so I'm reading and learning. Walking distance is the point everyone at work keeps making to me as well. Hope you get the seat.
