every time i get called in for a delivery at night, our daughter ends up in our bed and stays

obstetrician, so 2 am calls happen a couple of times a week. partner hears me leave, daughter hears my partner, and by the time im home at 5 shes asleep sideways across our bed fine once in a while. its now most nights, even when im not called. no family here, nanny is days only anyone moved a preschooler back to her own bed without a week of crying
