Cricket bat repair around Sanathnagar? The handle on my son's bat has started turning

willow_violin_5024

Our older son's bat handle twists in his grip now, and there's a crack along the toe that he has been 'managing' with tape for a month. The shop where we bought it says send it back to the company, which takes weeks, and he plays every evening. Is there anyone on this side of the city who regrips and repairs bats as a regular thing, not a shop that sends them away? And how long did the repair last?

No idea about Sanathnagar, but there's a man near the cricket ground in Nizampet who does handles and toe guards in a day. The coaches there send everyone to him. Last time he redid a grip while we waited, about a chai's length 🙂

Near the main road or inside the colony? We're on the KPHB side and my son's bat has the same crack.

      Replying to @saffron_notebook_3232

Not the person you asked, but if it's the one I'm thinking of, it's inside, behind the ground. Ask anyone at the nets in the evening and they'll point you to him. We went there for our son's pads last year, quick and no fuss.
