Class 7 timings at Gowtham Model School, Madinaguda, and are Saturdays full days?

Not planning a move. My daughter's school in Uppal runs 8.15 to 4.15 for the middle classes, plus Saturdays, and class 7 will be the same. By the time the van drops her, she's done for the day. I drove past the Madinaguda branch on the way back from a training day and realised I have no idea what's normal for state board schools in other parts of the city. Parents with children in classes 6 to 8 there: what time does the day start and end, and what happens on Saturdays? Actual times, please, not 'reasonable'.

No child there, but for comparison: my daughter's English-medium state board school in LB Nagar finishes at 3.30 for the primary classes, and the older classes stay till 4. So 4.15 isn't unusual for middle school, though it's on the long side.

Is that with full Saturdays as well, or is Saturday a half day there?

Our son's CBSE school ends at 3.40, but the real end of his day is the 5 pm tuition half his class seems to attend. When you compare, it may be worth asking what children do after the bell, not only when it rings. Two schools with the same timetable can feel very different by Thursday.

True. Ours ends at 3.30 and she still walks in at 6 because of tuition.

I stay near Madinaguda. My son is only small so I don't know the timings, but my neighbour's daughter studies there, I think class 6 or 7. I will ask her and reply here.

Fellow shift worker. Whatever the times turn out to be, find out what Saturday looks like in practice. Ours is a 'half day' that ends at 1, which on a roster week is the hardest pickup of all.
