school opens next week. the booklet came home in april with the ukg report card. tracing, colouring, 'write 1 to 100', a page on 'my summer'. we did six pages in the first week of the holidays and then went to my in-laws' place and forgot it existed. do i sit him down for 34 pages this week or let it go
Has the school said whether it will be marked, or is it practice? That changes the answer. If it's practice, finishing a part neatly is better than racing through all of it.
We had the same situation once with our elder daughter. We did two or three pages a day in the last week and left the colouring pages for the weekend. Nobody asked about it after the first day, but she felt better walking in with it done.
class 1 teacher flipped through ours once and stamped it. that was the end of it
Last year our younger one's booklet came back with a star on every page. Including the ones she had left completely blank ❤️ I wouldn't lose sleep over it.
