Anyone been through LKG admission at Centenary Baptist Church High School in Marredpally?

Our daughter will be ready for LKG next June and I'm putting together a list of State Board schools to visit. Centenary Baptist Church High School in Marredpally was suggested by one of my patients whose children studied there some years ago, so what I know is second-hand and probably out of date. Has anyone been through it recently? When did forms become available, did they meet the child or only the parents, and what documents were asked for at the first visit? I would rather walk in knowing roughly what to expect than make two trips from Bachupally.

I haven't applied there, so I can't speak for that school. I've been doing the same round of calls for my younger one this month, and so far two schools had dates fixed and three said to call after Dasara. The front office on the phone was far more useful than the websites, two of which still had last year's notice up. One call before you plan the visit might save you the second trip.

When schools say 'interaction' for LKG, what does that mean in practice? Is the child assessed or is it a chat with the parents? I keep hearing the word and nobody explains it.

For my younger one's nursery admission earlier this year (a different school, ICSE) it was about ten minutes. She was given blocks and a picture book while a teacher watched, and most of the questions were for us: who drops her, what she eats, whether she'd been to a playschool. She spent half the time telling the teacher about our neighbour's dog. It didn't feel like a test in any real sense. I'm sure it varies from school to school, so it's worth asking them directly.
