Anomaly scan date lands on our release day. How much room is there to move it?

Hospital gave me a date for the anomaly scan and it's the same day we push a big release at work. I'm the lead, so I can't really be away that morning. The nurse said there is 'some range' and to ask the doctor at the next visit, which is after the release. Did your doctor let you move it by a few days? Earlier or later?

From memory, ours was given as a window of about two weeks and the doctor was fine with us picking a day inside it. The hospital desk will only tell you what's already booked though. Call the doctor's assistant, don't wait for the visit. Baaki, no release is worth missing that scan for 🙂

Moving it a few days earlier was easy with my second. Later was harder because they wanted it done inside the window. I'd ask for earlier rather than after the release.

Agree with calling ahead. I can't say every hospital works the same way, ours was a private hospital in Bengaluru, but the radiology desk had more flexibility for early morning slots than for the usual hours. A 7 am scan might let you do both.
