8 month old has learnt to take my glasses off and throw them
every time i pick him up. grab, pull, throw, look at me to see what happens. the optician has started laughing when i walk in contacts feel like admitting defeat 🤷

Adding this to my list of things nobody warns you about. I've worn glasses since I was nine. Is there a stage where they lose interest, or should I just budget for frames?
Sports strap for the glasses. Looks silly, keeps them on. Ours still got pulled off but they landed on my chest instead of the floor.
My daughter did this as a baby, and the interest faded once she found other things to grab, a few months later perhaps. What helped in the meantime was an old pair of frames without lenses that she was allowed to pull at. It didn't stop her, but the real pair survived.
Keep going
