His marks, his call 🤷 Tell the aunts 'he did well, ask him' and let them chase him.

As an aunt, I'd rather hear it from him when he wants to tell me. A group post just turns into forty congratulations and one comparison.

The one comparison is the whole problem. My mother forwarded my son's swimming certificate to the family group and within ten minutes someone's grandson had two certificates. He hasn't let her post anything since 😂

Ask him what exactly he doesn't want shared. The total, the subjects, or the fact of the results at all. Those are three different things and you can agree on one.

asked. answer was 'nothing'. not even to my parents

      Replying to @fig_sketch_2664

Then you probably need an agreed line for when they ask, because they will. Something like 'he did well and he's happy with it' is true and doesn't hand anyone a number. The grandparents may take a little more convincing than the aunts.
