3on Maples in Kukatpally has a parent interaction for admission. Can a guardian attend instead?
When my parents started doing a few days at our son's playgroup, the playgroup wanted a signed letter from both of us and my dad's ID copy before they'd even go through his routine with him. Took 10 minutes. Hopefully the school is similar for the interaction and not a whole notary trip 😄 He's only 1 so we haven't done a real school yet.
3on Almost walking. Does he need shoes yet, or is barefoot fine?
Haha, the building announcement system. Soft soles it is. The squeakers can come out when my mother visits.
0on Doing up a room for a client's son with sensory needs. What helps at home?
Not something I know about, but one thought: the therapist's list is probably more useful than anything on the internet. Maybe ask if you can speak to the therapist for ten minutes yourself? You'd get the reasons, not just the items.
0on my 7 year old has been checking on the idli batter every hour like it's a patient
Late to this, but did the batter cheer up? We have a baby and I can already see this happening in our kitchen in about six years.
0on The young couple next door have a toddler who cries most nights. Would offering help be intrusive?
From the tired-parent side: I would have loved this. Our son is a bad sleeper and some weeks the only real relief is my parents taking him for a morning. A neighbour I didn't know well? Food, yes, immediately. Taking him, probably not at first. But I'd have remembered the offer.
4on Daycare's 'my family' drawing has me with a torch on my head
Better than mine will be. I'm on calls all day, so I'm expecting a man talking to a rectangle. Did the cat get a name?
