I've run on my own for years, mostly on the main road at 5.30 because it's empty then. Now my daughter, 15, wants to come along, which I'm delighted about, but I'm not taking her on a road with trucks. Is there a place nearby with a decent loop, a lake path or a park, where people really do run before 6? Ideally not a 20-minute drive away. She'll lose interest if we have to drive.
no idea about tellapur. vanasthalipuram here and we just do rounds inside the colony 😄 15 laps is a 5k. very boring, very safe
Not your side, but my son and I found that most of the larger gated communities have an internal road loop residents run on, and some let you in with a resident. Worth asking friends in the bigger communities near you. Lake paths are pleasant, but some are poorly lit before 6.
On the lighting: is that something you saw yourself, or something you heard? We've been told different things about the paths on our side and I'd like to know before taking my son.
