When do schools start taking class 8 forms for the following year?
Daughter just started class 7. Thinking of a change for class 8, nothing urgent, just want options this time. Is it Nov? Jan? Don't want to find out in March that it closed.

In Pune, most of the schools we looked at for my son opened forms for the next year between October and December, a few earlier for siblings. Hyderabad may run on a different clock, so take that as a rough guide. The school websites usually put up a notice before anything appears anywhere else.
Tolichowki side too. For our boys we saw forms from about November. The catch for a middle class like 8 is that seats depend on who leaves, and some schools only know that around March. So you could apply in November and hear 'waitlist' till spring. Worth calling two or three schools in October and asking how they handle class 8 specifically.
When my son's family went through nursery forms for my granddaughter a couple of years ago, two schools opened and closed within the same week. Put a reminder in your calendar for early October and check every fortnight after that.
