Not your side of the city, but for the fast-growing part: methi and coriander from the kitchen dabba. My son did that at about her age and seeing sprouts in four days kept him interested longer than any tomato did.

Bhindi did very well on our terrace, beti loved picking them. The cheap grow bags we bought tore after one summer of sun, so pay a little more for the thicker ones. No idea about shops near Sainikpuri though, sorry 🙂

Before buying, who waters it in week three, when it's no longer new? We set up a patch with our son and the novelty lasted eleven days. A small watering chart on the terrace door did more than the plants did.
