my daughter types her school assignments with two fingers, staring at the keyboard the whole time. it takes her forever and she's going to be typing for the rest of her life. i learnt on a typewriter at an institute when i was in college. are there still places like that, or is it all apps now? she says she'll do an app. she said that in may as well.
the computer institute near nizampet x roads still has a typing board outside 😄 no idea if they take kids. worth asking
An institute would get her there faster because someone is watching, but it's another evening out of the house. An app at home costs nothing and fits around school, and as you've seen, it only works if she wants it to. I'd agree on a fixed 15 minutes after dinner for two weeks and see if it holds before paying anyone.
My daughter learnt this year, mostly because her friend could type faster than her in their group chat 😂 Competition did what the app couldn't. If she has a friend who'll do the app with her, try that.
