Schools Erragadda, Hyderabad The Model City School

The Model City School in Erragadda is on my way to work. How long is the nursery day there?

We meant to keep our younger one at home one more year, then changed our minds last month, which in admission terms is apparently very late. The Model City School in Erragadda is on my morning route, so drop-off would be easy. Pickup is the part I can't solve. Our elder daughter's transport is sorted, but there's nobody home in the afternoons. If your child is in nursery there, or you've asked recently: is it a half day, and is there any after-school arrangement, or do parents use daycares nearby? Also, are they still giving out nursery forms this late in May?

Can't speak for this one. When we were looking a few years ago, quite a few schools still had nursery seats in the last two weeks of May, because families holding two seats give one up. I'd call before visiting; it saves the trip if they're full. On pickup, most half-day nurseries we saw finished around 12 or 12.30, so you'd need someone or a daycare either way.

  12.30 is what i was afraid of. calling them tomorrow, and looking at daycares near the office meanwhile.

we're a year behind you, so half useful at best. a colleague's son did nursery somewhere on that stretch and she used a daycare that collects from schools in a van. if you go that way, ask how many schools the van covers. six stops means a long ride for someone that small.
