The kirana uncle now keeps our 7 year old's 'account' of one eclair a day
Our son is allowed one toffee on the walk back from the bus stop. Somewhere along the way he and the shop owner came to an arrangement: he says 'account lo' rather grandly, the uncle notes it in a small book, and I settle up at the end of the week. Today the bill was for nine. When I pointed out that there are only five school days, both of them looked at me as though I had misunderstood the system.
