Taking my daughter on her first Old City food walk. Where would you start?

I've done a couple of guided food walks myself and want to take my daughter on our own version one evening. She's adventurous with food, less so with crowds and heat. Thinking 6 pm onwards, coming from Alwal. Where would you start and end so it's walkable for a kid, and what should she not miss?

Start near the Charminar side after 6, it is cooler and the lanes get lively then. Irani chai and Osmania biscuits first, then walk towards the bangle market and eat small things on the way. Keep it short for a child, two hours is enough. Too much walking and they get cranky. My son lasts one hour only.

Two hours sounds right. Is the metro a sensible way to get there from our side, or better to just take a cab?

Metro to MGBS and then an auto is what we've done with family visiting from outside. If the crowd near Charminar feels like too much, the Tolichowki and Mehdipatnam side has good evening food too, and it's calmer for kids. My older boy prefers it ❤

We did this with our son last year. He remembers the double ka meetha more than anything, and a man who let him watch bangles being made. Take water and a small towel, and let her choose one thing to buy. It made the walk feel like his ❤
