Swimming class carries on through the Mumbai rain. Do you still send them?

Coach says the pool stays open unless there's lightning. My son is 7 and thrilled. I'm the one under a dripping shed for 45 minutes, holding a towel that gets wetter than he does.

Same rule at ours: thunder means out, rain means swim. My older one's argument is that he's going to be wet anyway. Hard to fight that.

We stopped for the rains last year. Not because of the pool, because of the drive home with a cold, tired child in traffic. Started again after the monsoon and she hadn't lost much.
