small annaprashan lunch for about 20 near begumpet, anyone who does bengali food properly?

quiet_bottle_6718

baby is almost 7 months and the elders want her annaprashan done this month before everyone scatters for pujo. 20 people max not a hall. a private room somewhere or a home caterer who delivers. need payesh, one decent fish dish, rest can be anything. begumpet or close

not bengali so cant help with the menu. but the puja pandals on the secunderabad side will be setting up around now and the food counters there are usually run by home caterers. ask at one. a colleague sorted her son's rice ceremony food that way a couple of years back and was happy with it

A lot of restaurants on the Begumpet side have a small private dining room that seats about twenty. A weekday lunch is much easier to get than a Sunday this month, with all the festival bookings. Some will let you bring the payesh from home if you ask.
