She trains at 6 most mornings. What time does the day start for class 8 at Indic International, Kompally?

Our daughter goes into class 7 this week, and we have started thinking about class 8 next year. She trains most mornings before school, and the ride from training to her current school is long enough that she is half asleep by the first period. Indic International School is near our home in Kompally, so it is on the list, with the obvious catch that it stops at class 8 and we would be moving her again a year later. Before we weigh that, I would like the basics from people who know the school: what time do the middle classes start, and is there anything before the first bell (assembly, a zero period, clubs) that the published timing doesn't show? I'm asking about timings only, not looking for a verdict on the school.

I don't know Indic, so this is general. When we were comparing daycares, the timings on paper and the timings parents described were never the same, mostly because of drop-off windows. For a school I would ask two things separately: when the gate opens, and when a child is marked late. The second number is the one that decides whether training fits.

Agree with asking when they mark late. Our son's school prints 8.15 everywhere, but the class teacher takes attendance at 8.05 and anyone after that is 'late' in the diary. Nobody mentions it until the first note comes home.

That gap matters more as they get older. Our elder daughter's school added an optional 7.30 slot in class 8 for olympiad practice. Optional on paper. In practice most of the class went, and the ones who didn't felt it. Worth asking whether anything like that runs for class 8 at Indic before planning around the official start.

Since it ends at 8, I'd also ask where most of their class 8 children go for class 9. If a lot of them move to one or two nearby schools, you would at least know the next step before choosing a one-year stop. A long ride for one more year might turn out to be the simpler option.
