School wants a short video of me for its admissions page. How honest can a testimonial be?

Both our girls have been at the same school for years, and the coordinator has asked a few of us to record a two-minute video about our experience for the school's admissions page. I'm happy with most things there. Not everything, though, and I know what a careful parent watching would want to hear, because I wanted it myself: how homework is set in the middle years, what happens when a child struggles, how long the day really is. Is it possible to say something true in a video like this, or is everyone understood to be selling the school? I'd rather decline than read out lines I don't believe.

I did one of these two years ago for our son's school. I kept to our own experience, 'for us, homework was about an hour a night in class 6', rather than verdicts on the school as a whole. They used it as it was, and a couple of parents told me later it was the only one that sounded real ❤️

from the school side: we ask parents because families stopped believing staff a long time ago. the clips that worked best were the ones where a parent said 'this part works for us, this part we're still figuring out'. if a school edits that out, that tells you something too.
