Renting near Tarnaka next year. Would Sandeepam Vidyalaya suit a 4 year old with two late-working parents?

My partner's office moves to the Tarnaka side next year, and we've started looking at renting near it, with schools as the first filter. Sandeepam Vidyalaya is on the list since it's CBSE and starts from pre-nursery. Our daughter is 4. We both work, my release days often run late, and there's no family in the city. The school day for the little ones will end long before either of us gets home. How do working families there cover the gap till 7? Grandparents, a daycare with a van, a nanny who does pickup? And does the school itself offer anything for those hours? I'd be glad to hear from anyone with a little one there, or anyone who has managed the same thing at another school in that area.

I teach in a CBSE school, not this one. Where I work, the evening care is run by an outside group using two rooms on campus, and parents often assume it's the school's own. If anything like that exists there, ask who runs it and whether the school's pickup rules apply to it.

I hadn't thought of that distinction. I'll ask both questions when I call.

For my grandson the after-school answer is me, three days a week, on the Kompally side. His parents looked at care centres near his school and found the good ones full by May. The tradeoff we keep coming back to: I am reliable but not getting younger, and a centre is predictable but closes on its own holidays. Neither has won yet.

Do you pick the rented flat by the school or by the office? We once rented near my clinic and then spent two years driving across for school. If the little ones finish early in the day, being near the school matters more than being near work, at least for those years.

I live close to Tarnaka, and renting near the school makes sense on this side. The roads around the university are slow in the mornings and unpredictable at pickup time. Some days it moves, some days it doesn't, and there's no telling which in advance.

      Replying to @sage_balcony_865

Is pickup time really that bad? We may look at schools there later, and I keep hearing the traffic clears quickly, which never sounds true about anywhere in this city.
