went in to ask about their toddler group. they want a non-refundable deposit now, just to hold a playschool place for next june. he still eats crayons. is this normal in hafeezpet now or did they just see a tired parent walk in 😂
Arre, a year early and non-refundable both? We got the 'seats are filling fast' talk at every preschool when our son was small, but nobody took money a year ahead. I'd ask in writing what happens if you move or change your mind.
The 'filling fast' line is older than our kids, yaar. They told us the same fifteen years back. Most years there were seats in June.
Non-refundable is the part I'd walk away from. A refundable token, maybe. A year ahead for a 1 year old, when you don't even know how he'll be at 2, feels like they're selling a certainty they don't have.
My granddaughter's preschool asked for nothing like this. Her parents paid at admission, a couple of months before she started. I would look at a few more places before deciding.
