Playschool near home or near the hospital? My calls don't keep a timetable

lagoon_wave_2896

Our daughter starts playschool in June. My partner does the mornings and I do pick-up, except when a delivery runs late, which happens without warning. One place is five minutes from home. The other is next to my hospital, so I could pop across between patients, but she'd be in the car for forty minutes twice a day. I keep changing my mind. What did you choose, and did it work out the way you expected? ♥

Near home. You'll never pop across between patients. And the forty minutes will be the first thing to go wrong on a bad day.

I partly disagree. We chose the one near my office for our elder one and I did pop across, maybe once a week, and it mattered to both of us. The real question is who collects her when you're stuck, because near your work means only you can.

Near home for us. Neighbours can step in, which counted for more than I expected.
