Partner's school takes staff children from nursery. Is it wise to plan our daughter's schooling around her job?

My partner is a senior teacher at a school that admits staff children from nursery. Our daughter is under two, so this is some way off, but relatives already treat it as settled. I see the obvious advantages: same timings, one commute, a parent on campus. What I cannot judge is the other side. If my partner changes jobs in four years, what happens to our daughter's seat? Are staff children treated any differently by teachers or classmates? And does it become awkward for the parent who works there when there is a complaint? I would be grateful to hear from anyone who has had a child at the school where one parent teaches, or who taught at their own child's school.
