Our lane is the drop-off point for St Anthony Middle School. When does the morning rush start?

St Anthony Middle School in Himayatnagar is close to us, and on school mornings our lane fills with vans and cars for a good half hour. Over the holidays I've got used to backing out in thirty seconds. Does anyone know roughly when the morning rush starts once they reopen? Not a complaint about the school, the kids have to get there somehow. I'd just like to know whether to leave fifteen minutes earlier on theatre days or accept a daily three-point turn between the vans.

I teach at another school, and at ours most of the rush is the 15 minutes before the first bell. If you can get the bell time from the security guard, you'll know your window.

We have a school at the end of our road in Gachibowli. The first week after reopening is the worst, with parents walking every child to the classroom. It settles by the second week.

Vans usually come earlier than the parents' cars, so there can be a cluster well before the bell. I'd do a trial on the first day, leave earlier than you think you need to, and adjust from there.

Did you find out? I'd also ask the neighbours who've lived on the lane longest. They'll know whether the problem is the morning drop or the afternoon pickup, which in my experience is the worse of the two.
