Our daughter's first Onam outfit lasted eleven minutes

My aunt sent a tiny kasavu frock all the way from home for the baby's first Onam. Everyone wanted photos for the family group, and I had it on her for exactly eleven minutes before she spat up down the front. The pictures in the family group are all from those eleven minutes. The ones on my phone are of her in an old cotton vest, looking very pleased with herself. I know which ones I like more 😂

Ours managed two photos in her Varalakshmi outfit last month. The vest photos are the real ones 😊

Wait till she's old enough to have opinions about the outfit. Our daughter is 7 and picks her own festival clothes now, and they never match anything. The eleven-minute days are the easy ones.
