Our 2 year old says 'sorry' the moment she's caught, then does it again. Keep insisting on it?
Paapa has worked out that 'sorry' ends trouble. Pulls a cousin's hair, sorry. Throws the steel tumbler off the table, sorry, already smiling, already reaching for the next thing. My partner says we should stop making her say it because the word means nothing to her yet. My amma says a child who doesn't say sorry grows up rude, and says it loudly, in front of the child 😊 I'm somewhere in between. At two, is there any point in the word, or should we be doing something else when she hurts someone or breaks something?
