Our 12 year old wants the school bus with her cousin, not my morning drop

Since school reopened she has asked every morning to go by bus with her cousin, who lives two floors down. I've dropped her on my way to work since class 1, and I like those twenty minutes more than I'd admit. Her argument is that 'everyone in class takes the bus' and that my car is 'for little kids'. Ma says the bus leaves too early and is too crowded. My partner doesn't mind either way, which is no help. The bus would mean leaving home at 6.50 instead of 7.40. Did you let them switch? And did you miss the drive more than they did? 🙂
