Online physics tuition at 9 pm with a teacher in Chennai. She likes it, I don't like the hour

Our daughter started ICSE class 9 this year and asked for help with physics. A cousin recommended an online teacher in Chennai. She's good, my daughter finally understands the chapters, and the only slot left is 9 to 10 pm, three nights a week. After that she's wide awake till midnight, and school starts at 7.40. The little one goes down at 8, so at least the house is quiet then. Do kids just adjust to a late slot like this? Or should we hold out for an earlier batch with someone local? ❤️

    What is keeping her up after 10, the physics or the screen? If it's the screen, a tuition on paper ending at 10 would do the same. If she's buzzing because she finally understands something, that's a better problem. Either way, three midnights a week with a 7.40 start is too little sleep for a 14 year old. I'd keep looking for an earlier slot.

    Our daughter does online chemistry with a teacher in Ahmedabad, her masi found him. The good ones are always booked till late 😅 What helped us was a fixed 20 minutes after class with no phone, just a glass of milk and her chatting about anything. She falls asleep much quicker now.

    you could ask the teacher whether she'd move one of the three nights to a weekend morning. two late nights is easier than three
