One group member won't answer until late evening

A student project group keeps arranging things after 9 pm because one child doesn't check messages earlier. My child wants to participate without being on call all night. How do they propose a reasonable reply window without policing the other person?

They can say when they're available and invite others to do the same.

Suggest a time to finalise group decisions, rather than expecting instant replies.
