On stage at my school on Independence Day while my daughter performs at hers
Flag hoisting at my school, 7.30. I'm doing the welcome. Her class programme, 8 am, other side of town. She's asked twice if I'm coming. Haven't said no yet 😅

Same clash every year with customer events for me. Could someone she knows well go and record it? With my daughter, what mattered was that someone from home was there and waved.
or ask if someone else can do the welcome at yours. we swap clinic slots for exactly these mornings
Ajji is going. Instructed to record the whole class. Not only her own face this time 😅
two kids two school programmes same morning every august. these things never start on time, the 8 am item will be at 9. if you're done by 8.15 you can probably catch her class
'Never start on time' isn't a plan. Ask her teacher where her class is in the order. Then you know.
What does she say she wants? I'd separate 'my mother is there' from 'someone is there for me'. They are different asks.
This is such a good way to put it. At her last event my 3 year old only cared that someone waved back, and it happened to be her uncle ❤️
Do they repeat the class performances for parents later, at annual day or a PTM? Find that out before you decide.
Keep going
More from the parents who were here.
